The Soie d’Alger® colours we are offering compliment the hand-dyed d’Alger from Chameleon threads, which are overdyed on this product. Au ver a soie® has been in existence since 1820 and produces a top quality product. Soie d’Alger® is a 7-stranded silk with a matt finish. It is made from schappe silk and is perfect for all uses in the field of needlework. There are 5 in the pack and the silk skein is 5 metres in length. This top quality thread is a delight to stitch with and adds a beautiful sheen to one’s work. This collection features a mini range of dusky pinks, with 5 skeins in the collection. They are packed in our own headed presentation packaging and therefore perfectly suited to give as a gift.
