Simple pentatonic riffs on the Baritone and Soprano sit neatly under the fingers. The piece makes for interesting fun playing for all the players, especially the Baritone. A good opportunity to get a feel for swing timing. Aimed at grade 5 and above. Meditation – A reflective piece, that requires controlled and sustained playing. It provides the opportunity to show how well these instruments blend. Written in a choral style, imitation and suspended harmonies create dynamic moments of tension and resolution. Aimed at grade 5 upwards, a challenging but rewarding piece for the concert platform or just for pleasure.
