Description Cor Anglais and Piano This is an arrangment of Schumanns Romances Op. 94, originally for oboe and piano. The solo line is presented completely unchanged, so players familiar with the pieces will have no trouble playing them. The piano part has been transposed down and the chord voicings adjusted to accomodate the lower pitch of the cor anglais. These are a set of three extremely beautiful melodious compositions that suit the more mournful tone of the cor anglais perfectly. The second in particular presents some stamina issues for the player, but the set range from about grade 6 standard upwards.
