Description Chameleon Threads are individually hand-dyed in South Africa, using DMC unbleached perle no.12 100% mercerized cotton as a base thread. Perle cotton is a hard wearing twisted thread with a beautiful sheen and can not be separated. It is used in, for example canvas work, counted thread embroidery, crewel work and free style embroidery. Perle Cotton no.12 comes in 20m skeins.
