Description Chameleon Threads are individually hand-dyed in South Africa, using DMC unbleached perlè no.8 100% mercerized cotton as a base thread. Perlè cotton is a hard wearing twisted thread with a beautiful sheen and can not be separated. It is used in, for example canvas work, counted thread embroidery, crewel work and free style embroidery. Perlè Cotton No. 8 comes in 16m skeins.
